QII is now in Plymouth ready for the start of the
Race on Sunday. Jerry and I sailed here here from Lymington earlier this week.
We had no wind to start with and had to motor but the wind filled in in the end
and we arrived under spinnaker. The rain arrived too but we have now dried
out! Other competitors are arriving too and it is great to catch up with
old friends and to make new ones. The forecast is for a lot of wind soon
afer the start, something which QII will like even if Jerry and I aren't so
keen! But it's still a long way ahead and things can change before then.
